My guest today is the extraordinarily wonderful Lulu Biazus.
I met Lulu when she created some artwork for a few clients of mine. Since then we've gotten to know each other better and at least from my side the more I find out the cooler Lulu gets.
Lulu is a graphic artist and art director based out of Los Angeles.
Also, long intro alert because I am at the beach and I'm feeling it.
My guest today is meditation teacher and pleasant fellow, Hugh Byrne.
Hugh Byrne teaches meditation and works with people to cultivate mindfulness in daily life. His approach is deeply informed by family and culture, human rights and social justice—and the good fortune of encountering Buddhist teachings 30 years ago.
Hugh came to meditation when his decades-long career spent remedying human injustice revealed the root cause of conflict that he'd failed to tackle. Hugh came to understand—and know personally—that the anger and fear within us engender harmful behavior. Thus he began the transformational practice and study of Buddhist insight meditation.

Jarell Perry stops by Synchronicity to discuss music, awareness, race relations and the meaning of life.
I met Jarell through fellow MindPod Network podcaster Yoshino (Artist Decoded) and we immediately hit it off.
Jarell is an accomplished singer and songwriter and he also runs an excellent blog called Still Mind where he muses on everything from creativity to peace of mind.
I had a blast talking to Jarell and I have a feeling you'll really enjoy this episode.

Lily Cushman is my wonderful and oh so lovely guest this week.
To try and describe Lily in just a few short sentences would be a fruitless endeavor because it's impossible. She does way too many cool and diverse things. But shit, I'll try.

Buddha spoke explicitly about rating and reviewing podcasts as a good thing to do and a path towards everlasting peace and happiness, and hey, he's a smart kind of guy.
My guest today is the adventurous, talented, hilarious and all around fun guy, Mikey Kampmann.
Mikey has done a lot of cool things in his life like traveling to the South Pole and working as one third of the excellent comedy group, 2 Wet Crew. But hey, those are just things he's done, not who he is, right?

Mikey recommended a book Starhawk's, "The Fifth Sacred Thing"
Subscribe/Rate/Review Synchronicity on iTunes if you're into that kind of thing.

I got tuned into Yoshino and his podcast by Michael Donovan (who is an inter-dimensional networker and knows pretty much the coolest people you can know) and I'm very happy I did.
Yoshino and I only spoke a couple of times before the podcast but you'll hear we hit it off immediately.
Not only is Yoshino a creative powerhouse but his focus on intention, service and bringing value to people's lives is infectious.
Check out some of Yoshino's work on his website.

My guest today is Lama Tsomo who happens to be one of the most direct, down to earth, yet extremely wise and fun people I've had the pleasure of speaking with.
She's also a bonafide Lama (ordained by Tulku Sangak Rinpoche) in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. She's also an author and co-founder of the Namchak Foundation and Namchak Retreat Ranch in Missoula, Montana.
Her new book, "Why Is The Dalai Lama Always Smiling?" is absolutely incredible and I highly recommend picking up a copy. It's one of the best books on Buddhism for westerners that I've come across( and I've read a lot of books on Buddhism for westerners.)
I'll be giving away a copy of her book this week (May 3rd, 2016). To enter join the Synchronicity Community here.
